Analysis of goals occurred in the 2016 olympic tournament of male football
Abstract
The search for information related to the game has increased, the teams try to analyze the positives and negatives of the opponents to identify better strategies to be applied during the game. Quantify and qualify the occurrences of assists whether the ball stopped or moving, the origin of the finalizations and where It entered. The data were made up of 104 goals scored in the course of 32 matches in the Olympic Men's Football Tournament. Data collection was done from videos and accounted for using a spreadsheet. The assists with ball in movement occurred mainly in the central box (area) of the offensive sector, however, the assists with ball stopped come into being from the sides of the field. The origin of the finalizations occurred in the penalty box (goal area).After the analysis, the importance of offensive and defensive offensive ball training, as well as an efficient marking in the central area of ​​the area, where most of the finalizations are made, is perceptible.
