Influence of stretching inthe muscle of the players in futsal isokinetic evaluation
Abstract
Introduction: Traditionally, stretching exercises for muscle has been proposed by several professionals in the sport, as preparatory activities, most of the sessions of heating in order to facilitate the performance of the athlete. Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the influence of the elongation behavior of isokinetic quadriceps muscles and hamstringin situations of strength (60°/s), power (180°/s) and resistance (240º/s).Discussion: The findings in this study were similar to previous findings, which suggest that stretching exercises for static and passive, can cause decreases in production capacity for strength. Recent evidence, such attribute decreases due to the possibility of stretching exercises cause changes on the mechanical components of the neural and muscular system, thus, the favorable development of maximum muscle contraction. The evaluations that were preceded, only with the heat, athletes had better performance, possibly due to their associated physiological effects. Conclusion: The results indicate that the static and passive stretching, done in a series of 15 seconds, changed the behavior isokinetic and caused significant decreases in muscle strength and power of the quadriceps muscles and the hamstring athletes of futsal.
