Abstract
This study presents the following problem: Is there a correlation between the finalizations and the final result in the futsal sessions. Compared to the number of finalizations in goal, to obtain the most number of finalizations of the winning and losing teams during the games; analyze and compare the ratio between the number of finalizations and the number of goals scored in the games; report the finishing zones with the number of goals scored in the games, according to the pre-delimited zones in a campogram. The research universe consisted of 15 youth soccer matches from the initial part of the Brazilian University Games (JUBs) 2015. To enlarge the search field were considered all the information of the games. The technique used was the observation of the games and the collected data were placed in a spreadsheet. It was identified that the losing teams presented a greater number of finalizations to the goal than the winning teams; in relation to the total of finals, the losing teams, compared to the winners, finished more than 60% of the games analyzed. The data analysis process was concluded, and the result of the research indicated that the winning teams were more efficient with respect to the ratio between the total number of finals and the number of goals scored.
