Decision making in football seven: an analysis of the last pass and finalization
Abstract
The decision-making has been one aspect increasingly influential in various situations offered by football. A better situational awareness precedes the performance of foundations, that is, the decisions taken interfere consequently in the performance of teams. The objective of this study is to analyze the decision-making and actions techniques of football players in seven during the last pass (LP) and finishing (F). Were observed the recordings of eight games played by two teams of football seven (A and B) in a competition in the state of RS. Data were collected through a technical scout. The results showed the LP most used by the team (CB with 64.15%), and Team B (CB with 66.10%). The F more used, team (CD with 86.42%) and Team B (CD with 76.29%). The F ending in goals of the team 16.05%, team B 15.46%, and joint actions that ended in goals of the team (last pass CB and wrap up with CD 61.54%) and Team B (last pass CB and wrap up with CD 46.67%). There is still a lack of scientific information on football seven, however these parameters agree with the authors of studies on the football eleven, thus contributing to the awareness of the athletes on the quality of their decisions. It is concluded that the variables contribute to identification, exposure, and assessment of technical decisions, while also serving as an application for planning technical-tactical, coaches and improving the decision-making process of its players.
