Students futsal athletes of public and private schools are either not satisfactory academic performance?
Abstract
Objective: To identify the academic performance of student athletes, participants in the School Games in Pernambuco -Regional -Limon -2009, futsal in the sport, male child category. Materials and Methods: Data were collected from 12 schools, 8 public six state, two municipal, and even a philanthropic two individuals, all belonging to the Regional Management Education Capibaribe Valley, a total of 135 student athletes investigated. Results: The results show that almost 50% of students have student age range, and they are thanked in previous series throughout his school life and school performance on the 70% achieved full progression, 10% were in partial progression and 20% were disapproved in 2009. Since the percentage of frequency of these student athletes for the most part, are in agreement with the LDB 9394/93 ordering the participation of curriculum subjects. Discussion: It is also believed that research results in breaking the taboos that student athletes are those with a cognitive education of poor quality and also demonstrate the value that is affective education for the training and upgrading of the citizen in contemporary society. Conclusion:The survey notes on their findings that student athletes are not students with poor academic performance, as they investigated in this study mostly managed to approval in 2009.
