First goal impact: Futsal World Cup
Abstract
Background: In Futbol Sala (FIFA Futsal) the goal is the indicator of excellence in performance in the various championships. The referents of the Futsal modality were reviewed regarding the analysis of the goals and especially those that study the impact of the first goal. Objective: To recognize the impact of the first goal in relation to the final result, in the VIII FIFA Futsal World Cup Colombia 2016. Methods: The videos were taken from the official FIFA website, the 52 matches, the first goal versus the result final. The statistical analysis was done with Epidat 3.1, by the non-parametric method Chi_2 of association with level of significance alpha = 0.05. Results: There was significant association between scoring the first goal (OR = 25.4 - Chi_2 = 44.9 p-value = 0) and winning the game. Discussion: The high probability check of the team to make the first goal and win the match; Regardless of the tournament phase, the final place in the table or table of honor, relating these results, with those of the VII FIFA Futsal World Cup 2012, Leite (2014), and found studies of FIFA Futsal World and national. Conclusion: In assessing the performance of collective sports, the analysis and quantification of external factors of the load, the impact of the first goal (technical) is decisive for the components of psychological, technical, tactical and strategic performance.
