Anthropometric profile caracterization of youth players from the Angolan Football Academy
Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the anthropometric profile of the different players that are included in the Angolan Football Academy Training Teams, in categories Under 12, U15, U17 and U20, and them, analyze the different evaluations made over at three years ago. The main anthropometric characteristics evaluated for this study were weight (kg) and height (cm) of the players. Although the different measurements that had made in the sample included other parameters, weight and height are considered as essential indicators for defining the standard profile of each team, analyzing the differences between categories, analyzing the maturational development of the players, and compare the Angolan players with players from other contexts.
