Abstract
Aims: Confront the technical / tactical performance of the athletes from U-15 with U-17 categories and confront the technical / tactical performance of roles in football. Sample: The tests were made with eleven athletes from U-15 and U-17 formation teams of Ferroviário Atlético Clube, on June 10 and 17, 2013. Methods: The tests were taken from the article "Proposta de avaliação técnico/tática para atletas de categorias de base no futebol " by Balzano and collaborators (2014). The evaluations were performed on June 10 and 17, 2013 at 1pm up to 3pm. On June 10, the 1, 2 and 3 tests were performed. On June 17, the test 4 was performed with absence of two players from U-15 category. The order for performing the evaluations was alphabetical. All athletes received the information of how to do the activity and what would be the goal before each test. Results: The results obtained in all tests show us that the U-17 overcame U-15. Regarding to the position's clash, the midfielders are the highlights. The test 4 showed with more reality the player's performance and their characteristics in a match. Conclusions: This research wants to collaborate with the formation's team and their technical committees in the selection and evaluation process of their athletes.
