Differences in performance between anaerobic power and vertical jump on football
Abstract
The football should be specific in training and assessment. The aim of this study was to analyze the differences in test performance in power and vertical jump in football. 18 football players were divided into Group 1 (9) attackers and defenders (19.2 ± 0.5 years; 68.3 ± 2.8 kg; 177.5 ± 2.4 cm) and Group 2 (9) external defenders and midfielders (G2 - 20.2 ± 0.7 years; 70 ± 1.5 kg; 174.4 ± 1.8 cm) they underwent two assessments, and the Wingate test on day 1 and implementation of vertical jumps with (VJCM) and without countermovement on day 2 (VJWM). The statistical analysis from data was done using the Shapiro-wilk for normality, and t-student for comparison between groups, significance p<0,05, software SPSS 17. Results: No differences are found in wingate test and evaluation of vertical jumps. Conclusion: It was concluded there no performance differences between different positions.
