Analysis of the offensive game situations ending in a goal during the final of the IV Women's Indoor Soccer World Championship (AMF) - Colombia 2022
Abstract
The objective of this study was to analyze the offensive game situations ending in a goal during the final of the IV Women's World Indoor Football Championship (AMF) held in Colombia in 2022. An observational methodology was used, with punctual monitoring, inter intrasession, nomothetic and multidimensional, where tactical monitoring of the match was carried out frame by frame of the offensive game situations generated according to unique game behavior by the Colombian National Team against the Canadian National Team. The offensive situations were categorized into their conceptual level of counterattack, quick attack, positional attack, free kick, penalty kick and penalty kick ending in a goal. The capture of records and analysis of information was carried out using the free technological resource, Lince Plus observation software, which offers quite precise automation of observational data in sports studies; The established categorization corresponded to the zonal distribution of the playing surface. A total of 109 offensive actions by the Colombian national team were recorded, highlighting during the first and second half the positional attack as the most representative collective functional tactical phenomenon with 40 (80%) and 51 with (86.4%) respectively. Playing zone 2 generated the highest traffic frequency in offensive actions with 13 (26.0%) of the 50 recorded in the first half. However, 18.2% of zone 1 of the playing field was the most feasible space to find the scoring of 2 goals by the Colombian team. During the second half, zone 1 and 5 presented the highest total record, 14 (23.7%) of the 59 offensive actions, here 10 goals predominated, of which 4 (40%) were caused equally in zone 1 and 2. Consequently, there were 12 scores in total, 8 through offensive actions by positional attack and 4 through offensive actions by quick attack. Positional attack is asserted as the most relevant offensive game situation in competitive dynamics and that requires the structure of tactical thinking for sporting success. New investigative studies are suggested that contribute to women's Indoor Football (AMF), on similar themes or other components that its sporting characterization requires.
