The effect of relationship of extracurricular activities on scholl performance of elementary school II and high school
Abstract
The subjects school performance and extracurricular activities relate to this study to see if there is a benefit of these activities to the school performance. As a goal,a comparison was made between students participating and not participating in extracurricular activities, to verify the differences in school performance. Was used a questionnaire with issues open and closed, having answers of multiple choice to be mentioned, in addition to collecting the scores of all students in the study. Noting that,the majority participate in some type of extracurricular activity and allspent more than 7 hours in formal education, pointing as an end result that, extracurricular activities do not present significant influence in relation to school performance. Buchalla and Menezes Filho suggests in his studies, the importance of staying more time in school. Other authors point to the need to establishatriad of teacher-school-family, because this universeis that our students are placed. May conclude that, regard less of the curricular or extracurricular activities are,students should bevery involved with the school, and that, this student is involved in a dynamic context and constant.
