Characteristics of the individual, the environment and the task and the beam size rule in futsal in the adult, U-07 and U-09 categories
Abstract
It is necessary to understand the process of children's participation in futsal, as the application of the rules shows evidence about the child's development. The objective is to investigate the characteristics of the individual, of the environment and of the task, with emphasis on the goalpost size, adult category, under 7 years old and under 9 years old. The study is characterized by being descriptive documents. The rules of futsal of the Brazilian Confederation of Indoor Soccer were analyzed. The category of analysis was the size of the goalpost. The category was analyzed from the characteristics of the individual (motor behavior and physical growth), the environment (opportunity and stimulus) and the task (complexity and rules) and their interconnections, according to the Newell Model. The results indicate the goalpost size variable is the same in the adult category rules and in the Sub-07 and Sub-09 categories. It is concluded that the adaptation of the goalpost in smaller size is necessary, since it accompanies the physical growth of the children, shows greater variability in motor behavior, in addition to favoring the strategies of the game. The change in this rule becomes important, as it highlights opportunities and incentives for children to practice futsal, in order to favor their development.
